Manual therapy is a hands-on form of treatment of the musculoskeletal system.
Dr. Caleb Boucher will utilize specific techniques to diagnose and treat soft tissues and joint structures. The purpose of manual therapy is to decrease pain, increase range of motion, reduce or eliminate soft tissue inflammation, induce relaxation, improve tissue repair, and improve overall function.
Soft Tissue Work: Applies pressure to soft tissues of the body to help relax muscles, increase circulation, break up scar tissue, and ease pain
Manipulation: To loosen tight tissues and reduce joint pain, we will use measured movements of varying speeds, forces, and distances to twist, pull, or push bones and joints into position and improve flexibility and alignment.
